About

I'm Hiba 🙋🏻‍♀️ and I enjoy designing change with people!

Hi! I’m a human-centered designer, humanitarian, artist, entrepreneur, #lifelonglearner, and someone who could ask you a ton of questions 👀

I’ve been exploring and experimenting at the intersection of design, social impact, and technology in the past decade. While studying graphic design, I realized that good design sparks conversations 💬  To dig deeper into these conversations, I pursued an MBA to learn about consumer behavior, economics, and strategy.

Since then, I’ve never worked in silos.

I collaborated with students and academics to design communications and reshape learning experiences. I co-founded and launched a startup that makes cooking fun and fast. I’ve volunteered with foundations like Hult Prize and the ArabWiC to support social impact, which inspired my move into the humanitarian aid sector. With Medair, I expanded my design approach to craft stories of hope and develop innovative information technology solutions.

I value communities and enjoy being a member of Atolye, Speculative Futures, and the Lebanese League for Women in Business, where I meet and learn from bright souls. To recharge, I draw and create with kids!

Moving forward, I seek to collaborate with social entrepreneurs, governments, design consultancies, and non-profits to transform healthcare and education experiences through humanity-centered design.
